Once upon a time, in a small and quiet village, there lived a kind-hearted girl named Cinderella. She was very beautiful, but she lived with her cruel stepmother and two selfish stepsisters. Her stepfamily made her do all the chores, from cleaning the house to cooking meals, while they spent their days enjoying themselves.
One day, an invitation arrived from the palace. The king had announced a grand ball where his son, the prince, would choose a bride. All the eligible young ladies were invited. Cinderella's stepsisters were thrilled and prepared to go, wearing their finest dresses. However, poor Cinderella could only dream of attending such an event. Her stepmother told her she couldn't come unless she finished all her work.
As the clock struck midnight, the sisters left for the ball, leaving Cinderella behind. But then, something magical happened! Cinderella's fairy godmother appeared. With a wave of her wand, she transformed a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into horses, and rags into a stunning gown. "Now you can attend the ball!" said the fairy godmother.
Cinderella arrived at the palace and everyone admired her beauty. The prince was immediately captivated and danced with her all evening. However, the fairy godmother had warned Cinderella that she must leave before midnight because at the stroke of twelve, everything would turn back to its original form.
As the clock began to chime midnight, Cinderella hurried away, leaving behind one of her glass slippers. The prince searched everywhere for the owner of the slipper. Finally, he found Cinderella, who tried on the shoe, and it fit perfectly! They fell in love, and the prince asked her to marry him.
From that day on, Cinderella lived happily ever after, free from her cruel stepfamily and surrounded by love.
And so, the story of Cinderella teaches us that kindness and goodness will always be rewarded, no matter how difficult life may seem.
The end.
