Today was a very exciting day at school! We had our first English class of the new term. Our teacher, Miss Linda, is really kind and friendly. She introduced herself to us and told us that she loves teaching English because it helps people communicate with others all over the world.
In class, we practiced saying simple sentences like "Hello, my name is..." and "I am from...". I felt a little nervous at first, but everyone was so supportive! Afterward, we played a game where we had to introduce ourselves to each other. It was fun to meet new friends and learn their names.
After school, I went home and helped my mom make dinner. She taught me how to cut vegetables safely, and we made a yummy vegetable stir-fry together. I think cooking is also a great way to practice English. For example, I can say things like "Pass me the carrots" or "What do you need next?"
Before bedtime, I read a short story in English. It was about a little boy who loved animals. The story reminded me of my pet dog, Max. He always greets me happily when I come home, just like the boy's dog in the book.
I hope tomorrow will be as fun as today. Goodnight!
